June 1 is the most memorable （值得纪念的）day for Chinese kids all over the

 country. Almost all entertainment places （娱乐场所）such as cinemas, parks and

children's museums and most palaces are open free（免费的）to them. Elementary

schools throw celebration parties while parents share them with presents.

There is really a number of Children's Day around the world. Let me tell you

1.    Universal Children's Day 国际儿童日１１月２０日  （联合国儿童基金会设立）

Universal Children's Day is on November 20th each year.

      In 1954, the UN General Assembly recommended that all countries should establish a

Universal Children's Day on an "appropriate" day.

2.        International Children's Day- 10月的第二个星期日 国际儿童节

       International Children's Day- The second Sunday in December. It's a day when

broadcasters "tune in to kids".

3.        World Children's Day世界儿童日

World Children's Day- This is a day McDonald's uses as a fundraiser for Ronald

McDonald House Charities. 

4.        Children's Day in Japan日本的儿童节

        Children's Day in Japan- This is a national holiday in Japan celebrated on May

5th. Started in 1948. The holiday is believed to have begun in China. In Japan it is often

celebrated by giving children kites and hanging streamers. In Japan, the Children's

Festival was originally called the "Boy's Festival" while the girls had the "Doll Festival".
